Einstein predicted gravitational waves over a century ago. These waves are "ripples" in space-time, caused by some of the most extreme events in the cosmos, such as colliding black holes. But no one could actually observe gravitational waves until well into the 21st century.

Join Lucia, a PhD student in physics, on an exploration of how gravitational waves are formed, how they move through the universe, and how scientists like her work to hear them.

Duration: 23 minutes
